Volunteer To Get E371 Back On The Rails

Getting E371 back on the rails will take many hours and volunteers of all abilities will be able to be part of the team.

Whether you're a skilled tradesperson, such as a welder, fitter, machinist, pattern-cutter, boiler-maker or just keen to pick up a wire brush and get preparing steel for painting, there is a role for you.

Training will be provided and if you're keen to work with other like-minded volunteers, we'd love to hear from you!

There are a couple of requirements:

  • You'll need to complete an induction, so you understand the dangers of the work and the site and undertand how to work safely.

  • You'll need to comply with our Volunteers Code of Conduct

  • You'll need to have a volunteers Working With Children Check. It won't cost you anything. We believe it's important to protect our younger volunteers, visitors and passengers and a current Working With Chilren Check is an important part of doing this

We'll have workdays on both weekdays and weekends, so if you're interested, complete the form and our project team will get back to you - usually within a week..

Volunteer Enquiry
